That's Santa doing the rounds of our little community. I love this, but wonder how long it will continue for as we are becoming a bit bigger a community and will get bigger again yet. Santa and his team are all volunteer's. They also have good aim with the old throwing of the lolly hand!
I was inside when Donna said, quick come and look at this cute little guy...I did, then grabbed the camera, but he was camera shy and took off back into the hedge. And yep I've seen hedgehogs more than a few times, but you've got to admit they are pretty cute. Buggers for eating our native birds eggs, but cute...
can you be both?? LOL!
We had a great Christmas party. Very happy parents, very excited, sugar fuelled children! One of our boys, D, at the begginning of each song would say something along the lines of 'hey Mum, you'll like this one, it's really funny' or 'oh this is the star one Mum, the teacher's said you would cry!' (It's one of those really lovely songs, and the kids all hold hands...and yep parents did have a few tears!) Teacher's who thought they might hit the bottle once they got home ROFL - I did, it was coke though! The chocolates are starting to roll in, my hubby loves this time of year. I tell him to eat all the chocolates so that I'm not tempted. They can sit in my fridge for ages, and then all of a sudden I'll feel like one. But it's hard to stop at one, once their opened IYKWIM!
Wahoo Wednesday tomorrow - I'm getting in early LOL! I'm wahooing because now that the Christmas party is finished, it actually feels like we are heading towards the end of term! Yahoo for that, the body and the brain are ready for a rest!

LOL - I misread and thought Donna was saying look at the cute guy - the one in the other photo running with the fire engine! We had the Kindy party today too, now a quiet end tomorrow to the term, then cleanup on Thursday.

Yep the countdown is on to last day of school too. Love hedgehogs - we had one the other night too and boy was he big! Don't know where he went though? How was your hayfever over Animal Hospital tonight?
lol at Mich, I knew what you meant and thought of the hedgehog and not the cute guys on the truck, there must be something wrong with me. Whoo hoo at the party being over, enjoy the last few days of term.
Know just what you mean about the chokkies ... yep I'm fine, until I start!!LOL
Yay it's nearly wind down time for you - woohoo.
Not sure if 'cute' is the word I'd use to describe a hedgehog's backside. Yay for the last few days of term.
Rob and I were just talking about teachers and their end-of-year presents tonight. He thought it would be great, and I said teachers must get so many boxes of chocolates! You are so lucky your hubby is happy to help you out with that problem, LOL! ;-)
Aw, that hedgie is so cute. They are my favourite wild creature. I just stick my hands over my ears when people start talking about the eggs, lol.
Wow, you must be partied out by now, Trace. Good thing you've all the glucose from the chocolates to keep you going, haha.
Our kindy broke up today and we went along to the party. Talk about loud!! Mr Two went crazy. Not that all the other kids weren't already with all the excitement and rocket fuel/sugar.
I also like hedgehogs and they don't know the difference between native bird eggs and other food. They do like snails and slugs though. Mmm lots of chocolate - I got one box this year from Kirkaldie and Stains - I'm saving it for myself
We had Aurelia's kindy concert just before the break-up, and it was so cute!! Although, the teacher had to tell her off for chatting during the songs, lol...that's my girl, the one that's not paying attention! When she did sing, she was one of the loudest, though! You guys (kindy teachers, I mean) really deserve your holiday break, so I hope you enjoy it!!
