One layout finished

So I managed to get one of those half done layouts finished! Here is my take on the fortnightly Scrappin Patch sketch. The other one is going to be finished, but not in time to make it over to Sketchbook for tomorrow night - sorry Hannah, this is a half done layout of your sketch challenge....

Thanks for all your kind thoughts on poor old Milo - the tablets from the vet have done the job, and the tummy problems are all fixed. However the arthritis means he has that real old dog swagger when he walks...his walks are now about 200 metres long, just enough to smell a few trees and keep his brain active. On the weekends we pop him in the car and take him out somewhere for a wander - just for a different view (and smell!). When we were at the vet last week he said that the oldest male lab he has had(and they are breeders) was thirteen years, four months - Milo is thirteen years and two months...Just like in humans females tend to have a longer life span than males. Hoping that we'll just wake up one morning to find that his heart has given up during the night - don't want to have to make the decision to euthanaise. Still you have to do what you have to do...

Right, best I go - enjoy your week.

oh I love the colours of this one.....very pretty and feminine. Love the swirly heart there on the side.

Always hard watching a loved member of the family getting older and struggling with movement. I understand the feelings behind the sleep versus euthanaise.

Thats a toughie isn't it watching them grow old and I hear what you are saying about going in their sleep.

Big doggy hug to Milo from Moro - think Moro does enough running round for the both of them - LOL! Wears me out just watching her run round!
BTW Moro didn't actually eat that duck, just held onto it til Marty came home - BUT she did eat a Prima flower that i had coloured with my glimmermist the other day - well stupid me for leaving it to dry on the floor by my desk! :)

Awesome layout, Trace! No worries about not finishing my sketch one. I don't actually know if anybody has done it! Too busy with Christmas prep and other competitions I think :-) But that's cool.

Thinking of Milo (and you!) at this time, it must be tough. Hugs to you both!

Really lovely layout, Trace!

Aw, poor Milo! Gosh, didn't realise that he was such a great age. All fingers and toes crossed here that the meds do the trick for him. :)

Love this layout. I have two elderly (11 years) golden retrievers and Bruno is showing his age now, getting pretty wobbly on his paws but still insists on a very slow amble around the block every morning. Abbie keeps bouncing...so far!

I'm so sorry to hear about Milo; there is nothing worse than a sick family member. Hugs to you all. Lovely layout, BTW.
