 The middle canvas was created for me by the fabulous Michelle Frizz, and the two others I did at scrapfest as one of Karola's classes.  I love the way they look on the wall together.

Yay that worked! Now I have some idea of what I'm doing!

What's been happening in your neck of the woods?  Have you started your Christmas shopping? No me neither!  Best I get onto that...Christmas will be here before we know it...

Okay, it's been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, and I'm trying it today on my new iPad (thanks for my early Christmas present Dad).

So with my hubby away in Auckland I managed to get a couple of layouts done, I have taken photos but they've gone all skew if, so am showing you what I finished from my time in Nelson.  Okay can't do that yet, I'll have to set up an online album to be able to put them onto my blog.

I guess a post isn't much fun without photos! So I'll go and upload this to make sure it works fine and then I'll go set up an online album.

Auckland part two :-)

So in other Auckland news, I got to catch up with my brother - that's him on the left and my nephew (who features in nearly all my layouts lol) and his fiancee.  Good old Dad cooked a delish roast lamb, and there might have been one or two beers as well.

Now I think I might have inherited my love of animals from Dad!  (That's not to say Mum didn't love animals, because she sure did).  However, Dad has  a pet seagull, that flies on down and spends the day hanging around, pops inside for the odd visit and 'growls' at any other birds that dare to come onto his patch.  He's one very well fed seagull - at one point I was giving him some left overs and he kept shaking his head trying to get them all down!

On one of the days, my lovely sister in law Maureen, and I headed off to Newmarket for a bit of shopping.  Donna had told us to visit Little and Friday and as we needed somewhere for a spot of lunch, we headed there.  Yummo!  And very cool

I took home a raspberry donught as all the reviews said that they were the best thing out.  OMG, if you ever get the chance, you so have to try one - it was devine.

Okay, just like yesterday Blogger is having fun at my expense.  So I will stop here and do one more installment in the next few days!

Firstly let me apologise if my posts are a little challenging to read. I do write in paragraphs, but good old blogger has been running them altogether, which isn't at all helpful really! I try and put a photo in between paragraphs and sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't...

So anyway, this last week and a bit has seen me head off to my old hometown of Auckland.  I relocated a hire car from Christchurch to Auckland.  Was impressed with the updated ferry - the Kaitaki (my favourite ferry, so I always try and time my crossings so that I go on her!)  Was once again a lovely calm crossing, which is always good.  I arrived in Welly, had a quick catch up with the lovely Mandy (and a delicious hot honey and lemon drink).  I had no voice, so we spoke in whispers :-)

 

 I then headed a couple of hours out of Wellington, staying the night at Levin, so that I had a little less to drive the next day.  Good old McDonalds for dinner and then up the next morning and onto Auckland.  A quick stop for lunch at National Park, and then onto Dad's house, a long soak in the bath and the familiar sight of Rangitoto.

 Monday I caught up with some friends, did a bit

of shopping and a bit of sightseeing.  It was a typical Auckland day...look to the left and it's pouring down, look to the right and it's stunningly sunny.  Ten minutes later, swap sides LOL. 

Tuesday night and I was lucky enough to catch
