Look where we went!

As you can see Lyall and I had a lovely day out with our little Godson yesterday. Out near the Bombay Hills is a little private zoo, called Franklin Zoo. It's a great place for littlies as there are lots of animals that can be fed - as well as some that can't LOL! It wasn't just him who had a wonderful time feeding everything, we enjoyed it just as much!

With all our gallivanting about however, it meant nothing creative got done - actually I tell a lie - I did take some photos ready for my BOM pages. Roll on the end of this week, I'm ready for the term to end now. Our children have their Christmas parties tomorrow (one for each session), where they put on a concert, have a fairy visit (Tanya Batt - she's brilliant, and has her own books - more of a storyteller than a fairy, has the kids all up and moving, joining in, weaving her magic) and shared party food. So once tomorrow is over then I will feel like we can start to wind down.

Right off to check out all of your blogs!

That zoo looks awesome, it would be great to be so up close & personal with a zebra. Might take the boys there one day.
The duckling is very cute!

I never knew about that zoo, Trace. Must tell my bro & SIL who live at Whitford so they can take their 15 mth old grandson there some time.

Aw, the duckling is sooooo cute! Would love some ducks here on our property but hubby is not so keen (and he would earmark them for the freezer anyway, haha)

Hey, enjoy your parties! :)

Oh, Franklin Zoo, that's not far from us, and we have been once. We must go again these holidays; it's much better for DD as she can get closer and actually see the animals as opposed to the big zoo, where she loses interest pretty quickly. Your Godson definitely looks like he enjoyed it!
