Monday, Monday...

When you get a puppy you know about the need for toilet training, you expect some broken nights of sleep, you expect a few toys to be strewn around the house. But there was something I forgot...I forgot what it was like to be followed around every waking moment. I have a shower and there is someone asleep on the floor, I can't lie in the bath alone anymore, two little heads keep popping up over the side to look at me (just in case I've disappeared down the plug hole). I love the loyalty, but sometimes, being able to move without shadows would be a welcome change. Sigh. Oh well like most stages of puppyhood I'm sure it won't be too long before this to changes, and it will become a distant memory.

Last week I baked. I forgot how much I enjoy baking, but just don't do it often. So my new years resolution...bake more often lol. I also got to spend a lovely relaxing day with this person. She also spotted my Project Life kit...and now she is the proud owner of one lol. I've been busy packing stuff up (my scraproom is half as full as it was...I'm already having magazine withdrawls lol). We are putting all our clutter into a storage facility. This means the kindergarten that I worked at for the last couple of terms is going to inherit some stuff I no longer need/want. I don't need two mixers (as in the Kenwood mixer things). I don't need ten of the same blue plastic trays. Or so many vases. On Wednesday I'm off to visit another friend, check out her new house, and visit the kindergarten with their new goodies lol. This week also sees me whitening the grout in all the tiled areas, oh what a fun job that is...Mind you it does look pretty impressive when it's finished.

Darcy and I are off to the vet this morning, she has her final vaccinations so best I get off this computer and get myself ready. Enjoy your week, may it be sunshiny for you.

How is the project life going: Looking forward to seeing what you have done. What a cute little shadow - at least it won't answer you back lol. Good luck with the declutter!

Ha! Its not just puppies who do that Trace! Vinnie guards my clothes when I'm in the shower, when I go to the loo if I don't close the door properly I have 3 boys barging in to join me and baths...well, even the cat joins in on that!
When they get to ancient status they might stop!

I missed you at work today :(
It was so lovely to be back in the groove again tho! Your shadows are so damn cute. You should see the scary room at Bassett Street! NOT SO SCARY ANY MORE LOL!!!!! So tidy and clean! I also did heaps of decluttering around home over the holidays, and its lovely to have a tidy, organised (so far) home and life for 2010.

ROFL, puppyhood sounds an awful lot like babyhood, but with babies there is the crying and lack of sleep! I've never had a puppy or a dog though, so I can't comment from first-hand experience!

I love baking too, my problem is trying not to eat it all, so sadly I don't do it as much as I'd like.
