Yep it was my birthday yesterday and I was well and truly spoilt. Apart from Darcy I got jewellery...the lovely Vicki gave me jewellery, my hubby gave me jewellery and my Dad gave me a voucher for Pascoes...do they think I like small, shiny, expensive things then ROFL!! Lyall also gave me a voucher for the Body Shop and the Body Shop also give you 20% off for your birthday, so that has already been well and truly spent. Donna got me my favourite perfume, which was great as I'd just used the last bit up in my last bottle - it's Cinema by Yves St Laurent if anybody wants to know lol. Dad sent the voucher for Pascoes down along with a bit of money and a note telling us we were to go out for dinner on him. Well we were all hankering for some blue cod for tea, so really wanted just good old fish and chips, so Dad, you shouted us to Pukeko Junction for breakfast and fish and chips for tea THANKS! (No, we didn't need lunch after breakfast at Pukeko Junction!).
The rest of the day we went for a drive to show Grant a bit more of the country. We stopped at a couple of pubs for a drink as we did this. I cuddled up on the couch with a good book, a tuckered out pup and a glass of coke while Lyall cleaned and Donna hung out the washing. Yep, that's my idea of a good birthday!
So another year older and not in the least bit wiser lol.

aww..sounds like the perfect day! LOl on the jewellery.i got cookbooks from everyone on my birthday..think they're trying to tell me something there?
i have been thinking of you but that's all i've had time/energy for! been working full time since back from pohara and the move happens on fri/sat...pencil me in for a catch up next week!!!!
