Hello, anybody out there???

Yes, I too am one of the converts to Becky Higgins Project Life Kit. I wanted to something a little different for my forteith year on this Earth so figured what would be different but a little scrapbooking LOL. Okay, so I do a bit of that...but not in this format. I'm doing it weekly rather than daily, and although it's early days, I'm really enjoying it. I figure it will be a great record to look back at in a few years time.

Now, you know how I went shopping at the Body Shop on the weekend well the stuff I got I reacted too, so have been holed up at home the last few days covered in a rash and burns to apparently. I was able to get out again today thanks to the antihistimaines doing their thing and the girl at the Body Shop said this range does the same thing to her...so no problems swapping it to a much more soothing range (which is one I've used previously anyway). I was really pleased with their customer servcie as it's beyond their control when something like this happens and not a reflection on their product. The other good thing is the Aloe range that I got is much cheaper so I got a bit more for my money lol.

Today was also the first day that Danny and Darcy were left outside with nobody home. Darcy was fine (most likely oblivious to the fact lol). Danny stood at the door watching me. But when I came home, I sneaked up and Darcy was asleep under the table in the shade and Dan was rolling round in who knows what on the grass (that's one of his favourite pastimes, lucky he small enought to wash easily). Speaking of dog washing, Darcy had her first bath this week. She loved it - sat down in the laundry tub while I washed her, but Dan stood there barking at me...don't think he was impressed with me washing away all her doggie smells lol. When I came home I put a collar on her for the first time, and she's fast asleep with it on now, so she doesn't seem too worried. When she was at the vet on Monday the vet commented on the fact that she was a lovely mellow pup, she does seem very accepting of whatever is happening. And she has learnt to sit when asked.

You know from my last post that my Dad had given me a voucher for Pascoes, so that sparkly photo is the bracelet that I chose. Thanks Dad.

Oh, if you have emailed me in the last few weeks and I haven't returned your email...it turns out that lots of my emails have ended up in a SPAM folder over at Telecom. A very very kind Southland woman sent me a voucher via email and lucky she followed it up as she hadn't heard from me...turns out it was sitting in this SPAM folder along with 117 other emails...I'm still waiting on an email back from Telecom on how to fix this.

Well, back to scrapbooking and dog watching - have a good week.

Cute dogs and beautiful bracelt. You need to log on to the Xtra website and enter your username and password and then find your spam folder. That is the reason I stopped using Xtra and now use Gmail for all emails

Awwww ... I NEED a cute little puppy dog! Good luck on project life ... the idea scares me so much, but I'll no doubt end up doing something with the kit ... 'perks' of the job. :o)

Darcy is sooo cute and obviously Danny has really taken to her.

Shame about the reaction to the body shop stuff - I thought they were meant to be all natural.

Haven't heard of Beccy Higgins at all, will have to check her out.

take care
