Wahoo for....
Great parents at work. One of our Mum's had bought a few swan plants for home and thought we might like one for work. We are allowed them but only in a controlled/fenced off area as they are posionous. So we have it sitting on the kitchen bench, where with the help of a chair it can be easily seen. So do you think these four and half years olds are in awe of the wonder of nature... nah, not really, but they love the fact that these caterpillar's poop all over the place LOL!
Having a scrap room. A week without one, and I wasn't fun to be around, so Lyall said, for crying out loud (or really you could put a few swear words of your choice in here LOL) go and set up a room again, I can't stand it! So I don't have to scrap out of a bag...
My sister...she has shifted in with us and will look at renting her house out. She will also shift south with us, which is very cool (no pun intended you lot!). So we are hoping to rent for a while, and then build something that will suit us all. Like a house with an attached granny flat - that way we all have our own space, but we are all there. My brother used to live with us...now my sister is. Wonder if Lyall's brothers are shifting in LOL, hope not, there's four of them - he's one of five!
New carpet. Gotta wahoot that, the house has that lovely new smell to it!
Great friends. Mich had spied some Prima notepads in her local SS and I coveted these just a little bit, so she kindly grabbed me one, and with the wonders of internet banking and NZ post, they were soon in my hot little hands, thanks Mich...and the lovely Neen sent me a RAK, after winning a draw on her blog. Very cool stamps thanks Neen, and I just love the cute note that went with it!
Off to a SU party in a couple of weeks, ummm having to whittle down the wish list. So hard to do, so hard to do...
A new clock in the kitchen, this was a real bargain and looks kinda cute. Can you spot why it was a bargain?
Oh and Vicki, when are you checking out grab a seat then...???? Mrs Frizz could join you since she didn't make SENZ... what a weekend that would be. No actual scrapping but lots of fun shopping!
Miss Beverley hope you have the best time in Australia and enjoy your birthday!
If you celebrate Guy Fawkes tonight - have fun and be safe. Me and my animals will be snuggled up inside. Milo absolutely hates them, lies there shaking away even with the radio, and tv on and all the curtains closed. Does the same with thunderstorms, what a wiss of a dog!t

Love the note! And my fire is roaring, Molly is tucked up in MY bed (though every little sound is fire crackers!!) Maybe her and Milo need to go somewhere soundproof for the next couple of nights!!

MEH - poisonous! We always had Swan plants every year growing up and none of us had an overwhelming urge to munch out on the leaves, lol.
Doing the same for our boys and they haven't been inclined either.
Even when I didn't have children I still had my swan plant every year in the garden. Just love Monarchs, all their life stages and everything about them.
