Sunday catch up

The first layout is my take on the last SP fortnightly sketch challenge. The next to are...you guessed it, how did you know, something to do with the shape LOL...my BOM layouts - Where do you go when you need a bit of time to think? And The Font!

Is it just me or are you finding it hard to get a full nights sleep with this warmer weather? I go to sleep no probs, only to wake because I'm cooking, throw off the duvet, back to sleep and then the cat decides to walk all over me...can you tell I'm tired LOL?! However the upside is, the days are stunning and we're getting so much done outside. Lots of BBQ's and salads for dinner and that's all good.

We now have art work hanging in our house - makes it feel like a home now rather than just a house (but yep, I still want to move south). We have a couple of land agents coming this week to give us a ballpark figure - then we can decide on the next step.

I've been busy on the scrapping front - this week two more BOM pages done, recipe's done for Scrappin Patch swap (will post these off this week Janine) and started on my Nic take - haven't found it hard to narrow down her signature style(s), but am finding it tricky to make it my own...still as Deb says, it's a way of getting anther layout done. It was that attitude that got me into doing the challenges (thanks Deb). It was something Deb said when I first met her, and it's stuck in my head - I love having the guidelines that go with a challenge or a competition to get a layout done especially when it pushes me in a direction I've not been or is outside my comfort zone. And it's another layout done.

Enjoy your week!

I'm with Mandy on the BOM - am struggling to think about them this month. Love your journalling on the font one - am a bit stuck for ideas on this one.

Yay for the nice weather - the new BBQ has been used and tea outside tonight.

Fantastic layouts! I am so glad to see somebody has done the Font one, I was starting to worry that it was too hard! Love your take on it. And that font is a favourite of mine too. It really does look good big or small ;-)

I'm loving this weather, we had 3 BBQs over the weekend and the kids just played outside with their friends until darkness set in. Love summer!
