That...
1. I've gone back to work fulltime
2. That I have a broadband connection that doesn't play nicely.
These two things do not mix.
We don't have broadband to the gate, where we live. We had the choice of spending nearly a thousand dollars for all the satellite gear to go in, or to just go on mobile broadband, at a slightly elevated cost each month. As Telecom said it would be likely that we'd have broadband to the gate within a year (that was a year ago...)we went with option two. Our mobile broadband works quite well in the mornings, but doesn't once school is out. I'm already up at 5.30am getting ready for work, I don't want to get up any earlier to check emails etc. I don't have a spare four hours at night while it cuts in and out to check emails etc. So, from this day forward lol, I will only be on here in the weekends. This means you won't hear from me as often. I'll still be reading everyone's blogs, but I'll only comment on one post, otherwise I'll never get anything done. I'll check out the forums that I'm on, but again, I'm going to be pretty silent most of the time.
Anyway, it's good to be back at work, and it's meant that I have that new white four wheel drive you see in the photo. That means my hubby has my old car, to add lots of bits and bobs to it so he can head off road. This weekend we've had my brother and a mate of ours, Grant down for the weekend. That's me, my sister and my brother in the photo. Not a great photo of him, but the best of three that Lyall took lol. Again we've been out and about hooning around the countryside (and we were hooning, I got a speeding ticket to prove it - whoops!)A hundred and fourteen in a hundred km zone. Needless to say the old neighbours joined us for a few drinks last night and there were some very hungover people around today. Nope, not me.
Roll on next weekend, I have nothing planned. Three weeks of PL to catch up on - I've done the journalling but I need to get some photos sorted and printed. I have seven half finished layouts waiting for me. I did get to catch up and crop with Vicki and Heidi the week before last, which accounts for four of the half done ones lol. Can't wait to have some uninterrupted time in my scrap room.
Right, I have to go throw some potatoes and kumara on - got a salad to make, and the boys are cooking a bbq for dinner. Have a great week all.

Don't let Lyall get his hands on that nice white 4wd as it won't be white for long. LOL. Hmmm a speeding ticket...just trying it out were you? ROFL
Whooo hoooo at the new vehicle it looks so pretty....and I am with Vicki tell Lyall he had your old one now and doesn't need to play in your new one lol. So does the new vehicle have a proper working "Trace" this is the speed you are travelling at.
Hey sounds like work is going well :-)
You have the patience of a saint Trace, in terms of the lack of internet connection etc. Good on you for making decisions about how often you will be online etc.

boo for the speeding tocket
and finally YAH for a job!!!

Speeding ticket?!! You naughty thing you!
Boo hoo on the broadband...lying phone companies!
Bet your doggies aren't liking you working fulltime. But are you?
Broadband such a pain
New car looks very swish
Speeding ticket:O(
Look forward to seeing your completed Layouts soon have a great week Trace .....
I'm glad you're enjoying work, but we miss you LOL!
Very nice ride there Trace. Ooops on the speeding ticket - yes, was wondering exactly the same as Janine...ROFL Blah about the broadband - we had to wait several years to get it in here too!
Nice new wheels there Trace ... suits you I think ... and it sounds like you need to get used checking that speedo thingy while your driving again. :o)
Bummer about your broadband connection not being considerate of your working hours ... hmmm maybe I need that, I'm sure I'd get a whole lot more done around here!
That sounds fair enough, Trace. It would be mighty frustrating to have to spend all evening online just trying to check emails and write on your blog. At least by leaving that job until the weekend you can relax in the evening and unwind after a busy day at work. It will be good to hear from you each weekend and see what you're getting up to. Hopefully no more speeding tickets though, eh?
Hi trace, Just got back from working away from home. Nope me and Viv arent coming to SENZ this year, just a bit far to carry all our goodies home! and its ends up being a pretty expensive weekend with flights, acc, etc.
