Thanks go out to these people - Tracy and Michelle for both giving me the Marie Antionette award. I won't worry about passing it on, because I think most of you have had it.
If I don't comment on your posts, and join in, on the forums over the next week or so, it's because I've probably shot the computer. I'm having lots of fun with it at the moment, so am trying to get it in to our local guy who is a whizz at tech stuff. So my apologies in advance!
Had a friend over yesterday for some scrapping time...I managed to get one layout finished, one started and have cut all the pages up for the Stories In Hand album. We have an open home this afternoon and the wet stuff is falling from the sky so I don't imagine they will be busy. I already want to drop the price so it gets sold, and Lyall's like Hun, it's only been on the market a week - ah yes dear, but who does all the vacumning etc etc... Next house, that's it until they either carry us out in a box or we decide on the retirement home!!!
Now see the photo of Lyall and my foot? How could you miss it LOL! Back in the dark ages when I worked with horses, I got a few injuries (as is par for the course with those beasties). One of those being having a mare well and truly jump on my foot, which resulted in my toe nail coming off and it's never been the same since. Every once in a while I get Lyall to act as my podiatrist - this morning he said
'you know what we need - it's one of those little grinders like they sell at Bunnings (anything to go to Bunnings...)" "Hey hun" I replied "I think I've got just the thing" and LOL came down with a wee scrapbooking tool - the Provocraft distressing tool. And it worked wonders. And he was happy - he had a tool to play with. Too funny really, who would have thought.
The collage is a group of photos when Lyall did a delivery to Bob Jones house. Hope he doesn't mind the shots! Fantastic sculptures!
LOL gotta go, the agents just rung, and someones coming through, couldn't wait for the open home. CYA!

You're a worry ... you might need a grinder yet from Bunnings - well Lyall might - ROFLMAO.
Hope the real estate person brings the right people through today and then you will be heading south ... woo hoo!!!
Ewww yuck - the similarities end here twinnie - I can't stand anyone touching my feet! ROFL. Now just how far south are you going to go remains to be seen. LOL
heehee! ... that's soooo funny about the provocraft tool. Go Lyall!! ...
and yes, don't you get over open homes real fast ...! hope you sell soon.
Great idea! I've got a little dremel grinder, which I got for bone carving. Its great for doing the poodle toenails ( cant see where to cut and terrified I'll cut too short and make it bleed!)
Loved the piccie of your doggie, aren't they just gorgeous as they get old ?
Wow, that is some spread Bob has going on there!
I'm impressed, Trace - your own personal podiatrist! You've certainly got your hubby trained, hee hee.
Sometimes hubby will give me a foot massage and of his own free will, haha. Doesn't get reciprocal treatment from me though. I think feet are gross, lol, especially mine. Have never had a professional pedicure or manicure in my life. Seems too freaky to let a stranger touch my feet, and OMG, why would you willing do that for a job?
Do go to the podiatrist out of necessity though. That is bad enough!
Hey, your road trip looked and sounded awesome. You are so lucky being able to do stuff like that when you want to. Yay you!
Funny!!! and spooky... I used to work in a racing stable in Te Kowhai... leading 3 racehorses at once.. one got spooked and one munted foot later..my little toe has never been the same.. has a hump!!! LOL
Good luck on those open homes!!
I had to laugh at Lyall being happy with getting to use a tool!! I might have to go and get some of those myself now.... it's a multitool LOL!!
okay so that is the most interesting thing that I have read for a scrap tool useage. Funnily enough I quite like the grinding that the podiatrist does. In four weeks I get to have my soles and heels scrapped lol. I will be thinking of you then. BTW I will make sure the podiatrist won't be using a scrap tool lol. I hope the open homes went well and you get a buyer soon. Its a gorgeous house Trace.
hope the open home went well and we have a wee SOLD piccy soon.. as for the foot treatment pics... not sure provo craft could use that in a campaign but who knows!!!!!
