I don't know what order these photos will upload in, as all I get is a bunch of writing. So...
One of them is for my friend Mrs Frizz. We needed new seedlings for the vege garden, and how could I resist getting these LOL.
One was the sunset from our bedroom window on Thursday night - not a spectactular sunset but I liked how moody it looked.
Milo in his favourite spot - the back of the car!
One is a BOM layout. I think I will only do this one, this month for a whole variety of reasons.
When I scrap I often have company. My little black cat loves to be there so last year I ended up making her a bed on my desk...
First week back at work, and all is well. Over the next few weeks we have fifteen new children starting - that's sounds like a lot (and I guess it is!), but it's the result of four months worth of birthdays. The kids who turned five, November, December, January and the beginning of Feb, have all finished and the new kids now get to start. This week nine have started. No tears, just lots of happy children. Am hoping the other few do as well!
On Friday we had the older brother of one of our siblings come and spend the morning while Mum was parent help. He was an absolute delight when he used to come to us and nothing's changed. Case in point "Trace, look somebody loves me" says Ivan, showing me a necklace that one of our girls had made him. "Yep Ivan, you've got a bit of a fan club mate." "I'm not suprised" he says! Don't you love it - seven years old. "That's my boy" said Mum "humble as ever!"...Mandy, you would appreciate this, the day of our last ERO visit, Ivan waltzed into kindergarten and says "morena Kaiako. He rangi aha tenei?" Now that was totally unplanned, no bribery involved, could have hugged him (would have, if ERO weren't there!).
When Ivan used to be at Kindergarten he got married to M. Everyone came dressed to the nines (lots of parents included), M's grandad gave her away, her Mum and Dad brought in bottles of sparkling grape juice, the other parents all brought a plate and our teacher aide made a wedding cake - it was covered in pink and white marshmellows. I was the celebrant. Some of the Mum's even cried. Well anyway on Friday we got out the wedding album and asked Ivan to show the kids "oh I can't, I'm so embarrassed about that now and M doesn't even talk to me now, she doesn't like boys. I still like girls. I even kiss them. There's some bushes at school where you go and kiss, and the teacher's don't catch you!!" (And I did check with Ivan and his Mum - they were more than happy for me to share these snippets with you - Ivan just wanted to check that I wouldn't show you any wedding photos - far too embarrassing you know LOL).
Open homes - these have been busy, but as yet no one's signing that ever important bit of paper. Lots of positive feedback though, so that's kind of nice to hear.
Mrs Frizz - I have used my birthday present - LOL I didn't manage to hold onto it for long did I?!
I'm trying a dance and stretch class on Monday night. LOL hope we don't have to be super co-ordinated...
Right my DH and I are off to the loacl for a drink this afternoon and then I plan on being in my scrap room for the night.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.

love the pics and the ERO and wedding stories.... love that kids do those things... why we love our jobs (most of the time) all the best for the future open homes and enjoy the drink at the local
Cute story. My black cat also has a bed on my desk where she spends most of her life .... my desk however, is a lot less tidy than yours!
You are such a softie making a bed on the table for her. Mind you I do miss my feet warmer I had under mY table. They are great company. With the interest rates falling isn't it a buyers market and someone will just come along and snap it up. LOL over the lettuce.
awwhhh ... thats sooo cute with having a bed for kitty on your scrapping table ... pepsi sits with me too, but I've never thought of giving her a bed!!LOL good luck for the dance class ...
before i upload photos for my blog i name then that way when they are up loaded yes there is jsut a whole bunch of letters and symbols but there is also the name of your photo so it mean you can find which one you want and add your writing next to the right photo.
Ivan sounds like a little sweetheart
Ivan sounds like a cool kid ... can't imagine getting married at 4 ... it sounds like domestic bliss is hard work even at that age given that she's not talking to him any more! Jessi wanted boys to come to her princess party so that they 'could do marrying ...but not the kissing though!' Fingers crossed that house sells soon.
You are precious ... hey, you are going to have the bestest lettuces in your lettuce patch - ROFLMAO ... well they better be good ones!!!! Love it ... just had to go and get DH away from the TV and get him to have a look at your post ... he headed into my scrap room thinking I was wanting him to have a look at a layout ... lol.
Priceless ... the wedding, the welcome to the ERO people ... that boy is going places ...
He could well be politician material.
My goodness, your desk is tidy! Mine is chaos at the moment, no room for the cat even if he would sit or lie down. No...he would be helping...lots!!! Pens are for chewing, hands should be employed brushing or patting Pat the Cat....and Riley can reach over from his bed and steal stuff!!
Love the layout.. and how come your table looks so clean to mine???
I love seeing all the photos you post on your blog Trace; they are always very cool. I haven't forgotten about the PSE thing; I am in Tauranga this week, and I think we might be going away for a wee holiday next week as well, so it will have to be after that. I will let you know as soon as my schedule is back to normal!
Hi, Trace, just found this post now. Somehow I've missed it when you first published it (:
Love the shots!
Haha, thanks for the wedding story too. You could write a book I bet!
How was the second week back?
