Another year older...

Thanks to all of you who sent such lovely birthday wishes my way. My morning started with a bit of time spent on the couch opening a box of scrapping goodies (which I'd ordered but Lyall had paid for via SBO's Christmas sale) a fake cat (my families idea of humour...)and a Pandora bracelet along with a few charms. And the latest Jo Seagar cookbook.

On Thursday I'd popped over to my friend Chrissy's house and she looked exhausted so I told her we were kidnapping the kids tomorrow and we took them off to the museum. We had a lovely morning followed by a picnic in the park. We got home about three and I had a shower and a quick nana nap before heading off for a bbq dinner. We had a lovely relaxing evening with friends and I was in their pool at ten that night - boy that was bliss.

I've tried to do a Janine and make my birthday last longer but the family are having none of it...I'm back to doing the dishes and the housework with a lot less energy now I'm a year older ROFL!

Great pics - look at the old knarly branchy [if there is such a word] tree ... you should have climbed that one my friend and taken pictorial evidence.

Good on you for kidnapping your wee charges for the better part of the day. Looks like you had fun.

I have a sister in law who insists July is her birthday month!!!! Don't think the family are too impressed.
Hope you had a lovely time at the museum.
