This was the Friday night challenge last week...
So I guess flame grilled burgers really are on the menu at BK Queen Street LOL! If you didn't see the news, BK had a wee fire this evening...and since nobody was hurt, the flame grilled aspect kind of appealed to my SOH...
Thanks Vicki and Alison for the friends email, that was lovely to get.
I had to have a nana nap today, it's taken us two and a half days to get our storeroom sorted out - and that's four of us working from about eight thirty to about five. It hadn't been done in the five years I've been at the kindergarten, and there was stuff buried pretty deep LOL!
I have been keeping up with your blogs but forgive me for not commenting in the last few days. My sister phoned me last weekend in tears. To cut a long story short she has quit her job after thirteen years there (she's a teacher in an early childhood centre) and as she lives by herself, she has been staying with us, which is lovely. Having someone close to you go through a bit of emotional turmoil is pretty draining, hence I haven't spent a lot of time on here. But she's in a much better head space now, so I can spend a bit more time on the old 'puta and in my scrapbooking room. Which is probably a good thing as it's Waikato crop next weekend, so best I be packing up a few things...
We are off to get the final plans done for the kitchen this weekend, so that's a goodie. And I found the seam on my favourite shoes is about to unravel so it looks like I will be shoe shopping this weekend too (yep, I do have other shoes, but I need another super comfy pair to wear to work day in and day out!)
Enjoy your weekend my friends...
And go Rachel...Last week I asked for your help, to help Rachel blog her way to immunity, well ladies lets amp it up a gear and really spread the word some more. Thank You to all those ladies that helped out last week. If you don’t have a blog you can still help Rachel out by leaving a message on her blog.
So here are the guidelines:
1. Leave a comment on Rachel’s blog post here
2. If you have a blog please write a blog post about Rachel and Scrap-n-Crop and PSA and do the link thing.
3. Leave a comment on Rachel’s blog here to tell her you’ve done a post.
4. Go to the PSA blog to this post here and leave the following comment “Rachel’s friend and the link to your blog post about her”. No personal messages should be left in that post, just the above.
Thanks for your help. If you would like you are more than welcome to cut and paste what I have written. (Thanks Janine, that's just what I did LOL!)

Good luck with the shoe hunt - the right pair is always worth looking for!
Hope your sister is doing ok.
Love you layout - such cheery colours.
My dad has a saying "family first" so in our family they come first and others things come second when there is a crisis or turmoil. Love reading that you sister is staying with you, your right, when your going through stuff like this you need family. Enjoy the shoe shopping I have turned into a Kumfs girl cos they make shoes for wide feet chicks like me and you get what you pay for, I have always found that I can wear the shoes and never get blisters while breaking them in, Love nana naps.
Can't wait to see you this weekend my fellow coke addict...
I'm sort of packing... scary stuff... so many poeple! Argh!
You'll protect me though right... a least I'll know who you are this time AHHAHA
