A great Easter

We spent this glorious weekend busy at home. We went to visit my BIL and SIL for dinner. Lyall and I, waterblasted the deck and pergola, we stained the deck and pergola. We shifted furniture and stripped wallpaper in the lounge. We gave the garden a good tidy up and took the clippings to the tip. We delivered curtains to a friend. We made a new garden, from where we pulled down a shed. We planted our winter vegetables. By yesterday we were shattered, but very happy, we ate takeaways for dinner and we slept like logs!!

That meant today, was our day off! So along with my sister we popped out to Manukau, and of course I had to visit Spotlight, just in case there was something that I NEEDed...and of course thought I would update my blog, and finish off one of my BOM layouts that I got done on Thursday - just hadn't stuck everything down. Pretty funny though, because Vicki and I share a couple of the same bucket list 'wants'! Had a wee giggle when I read her bucket list. She wants to cruise Alaska, me the Antarctic. And we both want to campervan around NZ and Australia.

Have you been for a visit to Annelies blog lately? She's running a bit of a competion and it's quite fun! If you have time, go and check it out...
So I NEEDed these at Spotlight, 'cos they
were on special. Well that's my excuse and
I'm sticking to it LOL!

What a busy weekend and your rewards at Spotlight - I got the travel ones but talked myself out of the others.

Thats so funny about our bucket lists. We have not done much travelling so it is very high on my list. Might see you in the camping grounds!!! LOL. Also Alaska is on sale at the moment but don't know about Antarctica - my sister spent a year down there some time ago and loved it.
