Just dropping in, since it's been a few days since my last post. Haven't really got a lot to say! Will be finishing (well that's the plan) my fortnightly sketch challenge tonight, and then will have to start having a think about the next lot of BOM challenges. Have jotted down lots of ideas, to go with the 'themes' but will have to put my thinking cap on, in terms of photos and layouts.
For those of you off to Scrapcamp this weekend, I hope you have the best time, and misbehave something terrible! (in a nice way of course!) Enjoy having your meals cooked - ah bliss - not so much not having to cook, but not having to think about what to cook...yep I can see all your heads nodding!
A few of my Mum's at work scrapbook and one of them was telling me how she got a Cuttlebug and a sewing machine for Christmas and they both remain unopened because she doesn't know how to use them...so am going to play at being teacher for her, once we can find a weekend to suit us both. That should open up a whole new world for her!
A couple of weeks ago, my well loved trimmer finally had to be given the toss, as it had a couple of nicks out of the line - so ordered a new one from Meg, and figured since I've got to get a new one, would try the new Fiskar's orange one - so yipee that arrived on Monday - I know, it does the same as any trimmer, but it's kind of fun having a new one lol!! And with it arrived a packet of grungeboard alphabet, so I will have to get stuck into playing with that.
Well that's about it for me, right now. Best I walk the dog, and then cook some dinner...hopefully will have a page or two to share over the weekend...
Whoops, went in sideways, oh well you'll just have to turn your heads...Milo's looking for Tui, whose hiding in the tunnel...

Yay for getting a new trimmer!
As you will see on Saturday, I am one of the very very rare breed of scrapbooker who doesn't use a paper trimmer! I'm a steel ruler & stanley knife girl!!
Isn't the grungeboard awesome?!? I love it! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
I have a trimmer but it only gets used to cut paper down to size - like Hannah I like my steel ruler and xacto knife. I had my cuttlebug opened and used in 2 seconds - lol - what fun though showing someone the ropes! Ive introduced 2 friends to scrapn (their other halves prob hate the sight of me hehehe)
Love my fiskar's trimmer - only I get a little frustrated sometimes with the measurements being in inches. I used to be a ruler and knife chick but the trimmer is soooooo much faster and less hassle too.
Gotta love a new trimmer - just as exciting getting new blades!!
I've got the elements grungeboard and just figuring on what to do with it so will be looking to see what you do.
so how did your teaching go??? Is your mums friend using her cuttlebug now???
