This is my random shot for the day - reflections in the mangroves...
And here is my boy going for a swim, which of course afterwoods he has to have a bath, otherwise he has that really delightful wet dog smell! At least after a bath it's a dog shampoo smell...Hope your Waitangi day is going well, I had the best of intentions to get a heap done, but actually have been for a walk, (hence the swimming dog and mangrove photo) eaten lunch and read!! Oh well you've got to have days like that don't you...

Sounds like a really nice day, Trace! Better than mine -- I'm working! But only because I didn't work yesterday (had a funeral go to to and a 5-year-old to entertain).
I bet he enjoyed his swim! It's so hot!
What a lovely relaxing day. Been a bit like that here as well - just pottering from one thing to another.
As for tidying up in the kitchen - try to do it as I go but depends if the kids have done their job unloading the dishwasher. Tend to leave all the vege peelings in the sink until after tea to go down munchie though!
