It's true, we are just a tad insane. I say that, because we toddled out today and picked up two single beds, with their mattresses and their linen (for the bargain price of ten dollars - thanks TM), and one of these now resides in the pig's house ;-) Yes, you read that right, the pigs have their own bed to sleep on...They would have had both in their, but it's a bit squashy for that. For those that don't know, just before Christmas Donna brought the pigs a kids playhouse to live in, which we have subsequently painted and carpeted, and added a little deck to lol. It had a vinyl floor which was too slippery for pig trotters, hence the carpet and we wanted the deck so we could sit on it when we out to give the pigs their daily belly rubs :-)
I've been busy sorting out all the photos that Dad brought down courtesy of my Aunty and Uncle, and now have some semblence of how I'm going to work with them. Lucky for me Scrappin Patch's sale doesn't finish till tomorrow so I was able to get a bit more black bazzill while it's on sale.
Vicki and I took the dogs for a run at the river this last week, and I sent her dog Brody home covered in biddy bids - I think she'll still be removing them this time next week lol - we might not repeat that run again in summer lol. My poor old Darcy girl was out with me the following day and stood on a bee, and it turns out she's allergic to them. By the time I'd got her back to the car, her eye's had swollen up - I shot her straight home and gave her an anti histimaine and then shot her up to the vet. She was able to find the sting (what was left of it) and remove it. So now we all carry anti histimaines for Darcy in our car...
Remember that wee chick I had, well this is her now...
Back to work tomorrow, that's going to be a shock to the system lol. Have a wonderful week all.

I love that the pigs have a bed. Can we see photos of the "pigs house" cos it sounds so adorable.....Oh at poor Darcy, and that sting. That's not much fun at all. Glad she is good now, and that she has anti histimines in the car in case there is a next time.
Wow that chick has grown.....Enjoy having the kids back at work tomorrow.
The pig house sounds very flash for a pig house. Chickens grow so fast dont they and they are not cute and fluffy for very long. I love that my work starts with the school term and not witht he kindy term and I still have a week toget my body use to the early wake ups, enjoy your first day back tomorrow.
Not good about Darcy, glad she is all good now
O.M.G. Trace, you guys are shameless!ROFL...actually I would probably do exactly the same - Mum thinks it's hilarious that I feed the birds off a dining plate:)
lol, yes please photos would be good! Luxery accomodation their will be a break out and a stampead to your place of pigs!
OMG ! A bed for the piggies? Blankies too?!!! Breakfast in bed?
Poor Darcy, Hope she's feeling better. Bee stings hurt! Riley sends her a get well lick.
Even the animals get really well looked after at the Swannanoa Retreat. Who's coming next?? Once Brody had dried off those biddy bids were easy to brush out and scissors came in handy too. LOL
