As we woke up to another stunner of a day, we decided to head up to Oxford for their annual A & P show. We spent a couple of hours wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere (and having bacon butties for breakfast lol). The area of Oxford is where Donna works so we got to stop and chat with a few of the families who know her. I took the photos of the wee chap leading the calf, as he is one of the kids at Donna's work. At one point he tripped over and the calf walked over the top of him, hitting him with her hooves - both Mum and Dad told him to get up, your allright, and he was, and he did and he had to pull with all his four year old might to get the calf to stop eating grass and carry on around the ring. Very very cute, but of course very serious business when your four lol.
We then headed into Harvey Norman to get some photos developed and ran into Vicki - so we decided that we'd try and catch up later in the day at the dog park. Which we did. You can see how much fun the dogs had. Making the most of the river as it won't be too many more weeks before winter starts to make an appearance, and while I know the cold water won't deter some dogs, it's not something I'm keen to encourage!
Donna and I spent some of the day wandering around a mall (we left pretty quick, it was just too busy for us to enjoy it). The pet shop was having lots of buy one, get one free specials, so the cat and dogs are well stocked up for treats for a couple of months. If we get snowed in they could live on treats lol.
Now I might be looked upon as being a bit snobby from Thursday of this week...My lovely MIL and SIL arrive Thursday and go home on Monday and then on Tuesday my good friend Nicki and her two girls arrive and leave on Friday. So I don't imagine I'll have a lot of time for being on the internet, so if you think I'm being a bit quiet then that's why. Or maybe Heidi and Vicki have got their revenge on me and I'm at the bottom of the Avon River lol.
Oh and apologies for the link to Barbz blog - and thanks to Gaye for pointing it out. I had added an S when there shouldn't have been one...
And bro, I hear Dad has shown you how to get onto my blog - hello, here's me waving at you, and Lyall's testing the beer, just making sure it's cold for you when you come down next month lol.
These are another couple of layouts from camp. Speaking of layouts, best I head into my scraproom and get stuck into finishing off some more!
