I'm sitting here in an empty room - it's devoid of furniture except for my computer...makes for easy cleaning LOL! Milo's finding it all a bit odd, however being a lab, as long as he keeps on getting fed, all is well in his world!
Today saw me shooting up to NZ Scrapbook (about an hour and a bit north of where I live)...the wonderful Tracy Le Roy gave me a photoshop lesson on Monday night, and I learnt a heap. She also very kindly lent me three of her books. Two of them specifically for scrapbookers -they are fantastic. After a bit of phoning around NZ Scrapbook had a copy of one of them. Not even CK (the publisher) or Amazon have a copy of the other, anyway this was why I needed to go over there - so I could pick up a copy of that. Of course it was way to far to go to just buy one book...so a gorgeous totally cool tote has come home with me as well, along with a few prima flowers and maybe one or two other things ROFLMAO...My reasoning being that when we shift I won't be able to go there, umm that's fair isn't it?? LOL!
I my DS with me and she spotted a kaiser kit she quite liked, so she ended up making a few purchases as well...this from a girl who said 'I'm never going to scrapbook, I cross stitch, I don't need another hobby...' Keep telling her it ain't no hobby...LOL!
This afternoon saw me travel to the other side of Auckland - an hour or so South - to Waiuku. Our wee Godson is three this week, so it was his birthday party today. Do you see some sort of theme in the photos?? Told his Mum to make the most of it...The Thomas phase doesn't last forever!
Absolutely not an inch of scrapbooking happening here and probably won't be until I go on the retreat (and I doubt I will do much then anyway LOL!). But of course one must still collect items as needed...So for those of you, huddled down in your scraprooms, enjoy! Boy oh boy it will be like Christmas when I upack again!
To those of you who have been hit by illness lately, hope your all on the up and up now - not nice to be sick. Have a lovely Sunday!

Excellent reasoning, my dear!! :-)
Sounds like you've had a pretty busy weekend. Happy Birthday to your cute little godson, I hope he had a wonderful celebration!
Sounds like you have had a pretty good weekend Trace nicely balanced.
When do you finish up at kindy?? and how far off are you from moving south if you had time it would be very nice to catch up somewhere with some of the northern girls on the various sites we frequent.
Nice thinking there twinnie! Sounds like something I would say! ROFL. But no scrapping - hmmmm...
Thomas lasted a long time in our house.
wow this is odd this post didn't appear on my google reader until now. ANyway you had a busy weekend, aww belated happy birthday to your godson. Wow at all the changes going on, just think this will be worth it when you are in your own home down south.
Hope you bought lots of goodies, not just a few! Milo will be finding things strange. My lot don't like even a bag being packed in case someone might get left ...hate to think how they'd cope with a house packup!
Love the photo of the cat watching Thomas
well, a bit of travelling there ... LOL at your DS ...!!
LOL.. any excuse to buy new things.!! Love the photos, if only I could take half way decent photos Id be in scrap heaven!
