We are lucky to have one of the few scrap shops still around, operating not far from us. Nope it doesn't stock all the latest and greatest, but it does mean that classes etc still happen. This week they had the main designer for Crafters Workshop visiting.
So Vicki and I signed up for an evening of learning a little more about how to use our templates. We were meant to make a printers tray, but we took our home and had fun playing with the products instead LOL. We got to try some cool new mediums and of course ordered one or three...
And how good was it that we all dressed in the same colours LOL. Pretty darn good considering it wasn't planned in the least!
Jamie was happy for us to take photos of her sketchbook, so here's just a few snaps of that, and of her hamming it up for the camera.
I've also been busy with my stencils, doing the rest of the pages for my Scrapfest mini album, so once they are all finished I'll throw them on here. I thought I'd better get my act together and do it, because it's only nine weeks away now, and that time will fly.
Am hoping the projected 'significant snow event' forecasted for rural Canterbury will happen this week. That's bad of me aye...but I do love the snow! Even though I still have to go out and feed the stock etc, in it.
Have a great week everyone.

Sounds like a fun arty weekend. Great pic of the red 'n Black girls too. Looking forward to seeing your journal when it's finished. ...and good luck with your significant event - pretty wet out there right now.
Andrew disagrees with you about the snow and hates the stuff. He is not impressed. LOL.
I'm not really hoping for a big snow - maybe just a little? Sounds like you had a good night out, looking forward to seeing some of the results:)
Looks like you girls had fun at the class - I never really did classes but I do miss regular crops at the local scrapbooking shop. Thankfully we manage to squeeze into people's homes or workplaces instead!
So I wonder if you will get that snow???
you girls do the red and black look so well ... just saying ... and your arty farty creations ... look forward to show and tell ...
Come on the outfit co-ordination was sooo planned wasn't I?! LOL Bet the workshop was fun and can't wait to see the mini. xo
Checking in a bit late here. Cant help wondering if you did get the snow you were wanting and are only guessing that you have at least had some. The class with Jamie sounds Fab and I cant wait to see your album...
