Did we get snow? Well that would be a big fat no! We got sn....it's kind of like snow, white, icy but was in patches on the ground, and not enough to throw at someone, or make you go awwwwwwwww, really just made you go YUK! What we did get though, were a couple of new real estate features. We had Lake Lyall at the front of our property and Moo River through the paddocks. The school down the road was taken over on Thursday night by civil defence as they thought two of our local rivers were about to burst their stop banks. Fortunately that didn't happen - wouldn't have affected us much, but friends of ours live right alongside the river so they would have had problems - and we could have ended up with their donkeys LOL.
The chickens were quite taken with all this water. Lots of water means lots of worms. That's a chickens idea of a la carte dining :-)
This was the local river on Thursday morning - you can see how it probably got pretty close to breaching that night. Hard to belive that it's completely dry in summer and that we can walk the dogs down the bed of it.
I'm slowly shifting my scraproom from one room to another. Part of that is reorganising my albums so that they are colour co-ordinated. For instance Russell will have all the blue ones - instead of a blue one here, a red one there...So not a lot of scrapping has been happening, but a lot of sorting sure has!
Here's a layout I did though, another one for my Project Life album.
Have a lovely week. Take lots of photos.

Yes snow - ahem! What's that? Worst snow in 50years?yeah right! So which room are you making your new scrap room?
ohhhhhhhh i like the idea of 12x12 layouts in a PL album!!!
as for colour co-ordinating albums...id love too...but they never seem to have the colours i want when i order...!!! lol
sorry you had no snow....i can tell you i am over storms for sure!!!
you have a great week too xxx
Don't really think I would want a new water feature like yours but I bet the pigs were happy??? LOL Am ever hopeful for some more snow yet as theres still a lot of winter to come. :)
We never got any snow either, but we were'nt lucky enough to have our own lake either ;) the dogs just stayed inside and did'nt venture far from the fire, oh to be so lucky
Thanks Trace, your post made me smile. 'Lake Lyall' and 'A la carte' ...Love it! Cool LO too. xo
Hehe, sn instead of snow. That's funny. I'd imagine if you are going to have the cold temperatures and everything you'd prefer to have the snow to go with it, rather than just yucky grey/cold!
Of course we never get snow here, so I'm always jealous of the snow pics I see from my Southern friends. Hope to see some of yours soon!
Love how you see the bright side even with water, water everywhere. Great page for PL too. Hope things are drying out for you. Have a good week.
What a disappointment, only a wee hint of Sn, and after all the hype too, guess you need to move inland a bit. Never mind winter is not over yet, there is still time..Cool LO too btw
