Hi, welcome friends, old and new!

If you've come here as part of the Scrapfest Blog Hop then let me introduce myself.  My name is Tracey, I'm a born and bred Aucklander who shifted South, to North Canterbury four years ago.  We have a lifestyle block and with that of course, a menagerie of animals.  I'm married, and with no children, it's my nephew that tends to feature in many of my layouts.

I've been scrapping for around the ten year mark now, thanks to my friend Annette who first got me into it after showing me an album or two of her son.  We are all driven by different things, whether it be design team work or being published, but for me it's the opportunity to get 'lost' in what I'm doing.  A chance to forget about work and the to do list for a while.

Over the years I've seen many styles of scrapping come and go, and of course I've tried most of them!  I love that with scrapbooking there is always something new to try, but when I look back at my layouts the one thing that stands out to me, is my love of white space.  Whether I layer, distress or go clean and simple, then this seems to be a feature of what I do.

Trina asked us to pop something new to share, so here's a layout I thew together last night.  It's another one of that darling nephew of mine!  Hope you like it.
