Happy Easter

For the last few weeks we've had my Dad come and stay.  We've put him to work, no such thing as a free lunch here ;-)  With painting, wallpapering, putting up fences and walking dogs, I think he's gone  home now for a holiday :-)  In just a few short weeks  he'll be back down again, as it's my sisters birthday in May and there's a bit of a crowd coming down to celebrate...and they'll be sleeping wherever we can find them a spot...the couches, the airbeds and first in for the actual bedrooms LOL.

He even liked my tomato sauce so much that he and I got busy and made him some, which has flown  home with him this morning.

Last week saw Vicki and I in the City to Surf 6km walk.  More of a wander for us really because we kept stopping for a photo or three.  Lucky we aren't the competitive type :-)  I was most impressed with how tall and skinny we were after the race...no surely that can't be the effect of the crazy mirror...We also walked another six km's around Ferrymead, which is like MOTAT for those of you in Auckland - but way bigger in actual space - goes for miles - MOTAT is much more compact.

Yesterday we headed to the Oxford A & P show, which of course is right up my alley!  The wee cherub in the photos is one of the girls who has now left Kindergarten and is at school, but  had been in to work this last week to ask me to come and watch her at the show - so I did.  She was so pleased with her 6th place ribbon...because it was pink LOL.

Have a wonderful week everyone.  I'm off to update Project Life - thanks Harvey Norman for being able to get my 9cent photos done in under 20 minutes yesterday - means I can get them in the album today!

Go you both for the city to surf walk, love the tall an skinny pics. Yay for having Dad to help out. You will need to save some of that sauce for Kaikoura if its that good huh?
