I have joined the ranks of those fighting germ warfare at the moment. Friday night saw my hubby, my sister, and a good friend of ours go out for dinner...and I stayed home and had a bath. Didn't want to share my germs and would have been miserable company anyway. I used the last of my lovely peppermint bath salts that the lovely Beverley sent me in my self care package. Was bliss.
Lucky ole me won the most gorgeous prize courtesy of this blog. Thank you so much Megan - it's a truly stunning collection of goodness!
This was my entry in the Scrappin Patch competition.
At the SP retreat Megan ran an 'exploding box' class. Now you know I'm so not an off the page kind of a girl, but what she had created was stunning. I was lucky to get the last kit and some words of wisdom from Megan and came home and made one for my Dad. It was Dad's birthday yesterday (yes, of course he's twenty one...LOL) and when he opened it he had a wee tear in his eye. Aww shucks, he liked it too lol. I didn't think about taking photos of it - (was more worried about it getting to Auckland safe and sound), but Megan has her one up her blog - here!
Right on that note, it's getting dark out there and my chickens need to be locked up safe and sound for the night. It's been a shaky old day in Canterbury today so lets hope we have a less rocky night. Have a great week people.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell. Hope you are now on the mend. Lovely parcel of goodies you won. Good luck with your lovely layout for SP. Tried to look at Megan's exploding box but trouble with the link. Your Dad would have found his exploding box gift extra special. Have a good week.

Still slowly catching up on blogs! I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been well, but the care package sounds like the perfect remedy.
