It's hard to believe that the end of this week will see my nephew turning twenty one. He's not a party animal and so it will be a quiet celebration, but I wonder where the last twenty one years have gone. It's that whole 'I remember the day you were born...' thing lol.
Time does seem to be just flying by at the moment, it's now the middle of June, where did the beginning go? I didn't see that either! It's not a complaint, more a caution to myself that I must slow down for a bit me thinks.
Yesterday was a stunner of a day with a warm wind blowing. This meant that three loads of washing got hung out to dry on the line, such a small thing but oh so glorius at this time of the year. Especially when your sheets are included in that. This morning it was snow flurries fluttering down at our house. This meant the cat went outside and then returned very very quickly lol. We decided to head up to Jo Seagars for lunch, only to find the closer we got (it's about fifteen minutes away from home) the whiter it became...gorgeous. The afternoon cleared to be bright and sunny with snow on the Canterbury foothills and the Port Hills in Christchurch, so the dogs got a run out in the winter sun. Gotta love moments like those.
I know you all know, but how cool is it that Trina is on the Prima Design Team? Way to go Trina, we are all so very proud of you.
Right better go. Have got dinner on cooking (Sweet and Sour Chicken) and I'm so darn organised (just for today mind you lol) that tomorrow nights dinner is all sorted as well. However I do have a twenty first present to organise ready to be posted tomorrow...Enjoy your week.

Didn't realise where your place was until we whizzed by a signpost on Friday on our way from Oxford thru to Hanmer - should have thought about it earlier and met up somewhere!
Stopped at Jo Seagars and had a delicious Hot Chocolate, although with a divine raspberry and chocolate brownie - Yummo! Well worth the extra drive out there!! ;)

I wondered how you were coping with all the snow, after living in Auckland! I don't know if I could do it. It looks SO beautiful, but I really hate the cold.
