Yep, lots of photos to share!

My brother and nephew came down during the week and went off for a look around - they ended up out at Lake Lindon, which is about an hours drive away, so one of the collages is of them having a bit of fun four wheel driving through the icy puddles and skimming stones over the ice and into the lake. I loved having them down, and if I have my way I'll keep putting the pressure on my nephew for him and his partner to shift down here once she's finished uni (end of next year).

Another collage is of my layouts from the weekend at camp. Kind of self explanatory that one. One is blue and the title is 'portrait of love' and this was a fab class by the very talented Janine Worthington. Thanks Janine, it was a great class and I will be doing more layouts with the other pieces in the pack. The red prima one is the Nic Howard class - who doesn't love Nic's work? This layout is now on my wall in my scraproom.

Now there is one of a bit of scenery - some of this is from around the camp (the playground etc). Vicki and I went off for a walk and did a few photos as we wandered (hence the birdie!) and some of those photos are from my drive home - they don't call it the scenic route for nothing...

Camp was a lot of fun and I got a heap done. One of the girls brought her laptop and printer which meant I could get all my journalling done at camp, whereas I usually bring my layouts home and then spend the week doing the journalling - so that was great. Heidi and I did a bit of a detour on the way to camp and lets just say it was a litte hairaising...Enough said lol! Vicki had the brains of the bunch - she brought an electric blanket with her...did think of mugging her but instead the first night I slept in three layers, socks, a sleeping bag, a quilt, my flannelette sheets and a fluffy blanket...yes there were heaters in the rooms but they weren't great - however the next night was much warmer and was aided by a long soak in the spa and the kindheartedness of my twinnie as she lent me her hottie! However the soak in the spa quickly put me to sleep and I was first to head off to bed...lol. But the company was great, the main room was toasty warm, the food was yum and there was even a bit of shopping and prizes thrown in! Girls, thanks for your company, we should do it more often! (with serviced rooms...spa pools...waiters at our beck and call...peeled grapes being fed to us ROFLMAO!!Anybody got a winning Lotto ticket then???)

Enjoy your week...

You are a funny one - you didn't mention the goats! LOL. If I win this week we will definitely get something organised - somewhere warm and exotic.

Sounds like a good time - was it a small camp? I mean with fewer people? I really enjoyed the one I went to that only had six people

well its sounds like you had a wonderful time. Brrrrr at the cold weather though. Now a leckie blanket was a good idea indeed. Always neat to meet and catch up with new and old friends. A spa in winter is just devine. Love those photos of the scenery down your way too.

Great layouts, and I'm glad you had such a good time - No 2 is off camping on the Brecon Beacons with the school next week but hopefully he won't be in need of anything on except his sleeping bag!

Your brother and nephew look like they had a whale of a time ....what a way to spend a birthday, I'm so jealous, I just went to work LoL!
