So this was my take on Annelie's scrappin patch challenge - Man Friday! I had fun doing this, so thanks Annelie. Scrap camp is over...sad but true...still needed my own bed by the end of it ROFL. It was good to catch up with everyone and Hannah, Megan and Beverley you were great table buddies. And to Deb and everyone else it was great catching up. Mrs Frizz I was asleep when you sent through your text. At one in the morning. As was my roomate. ROLFMAO!! And Meg, I don't believe you... I think you two filled a trailer and are just keeping quiet on the whole subject (there was a bit of a discussion going on who took the bigger amount between Mrs Frizz and Meg!) Did a couple of great make and takes with Louise and Kelly and managed to get ten layouts done except for the journalling. I got on the computer tonight to do that and have ended up on the fourms, fancy that lol! I also won a couple of prizes, so all is good in my little world ROLFMAO! Best I get my act together or the dates for the challenge ones, will have been and gone and I will have missed the boat.
Now sorry Mrs Frizz but Canterbury won out...we have purchased a house in a place called Swannanoa (Lyall reckons he's getting a shirt printed..."The man from Swannanoa" as in the Man from Snowy River). Yep, weird sense of humour! Settlement is 24th of April but we won't be down there till mid May as I have to give four weeks notice - that takes me through to the 8th of May and there's a see ya later crop happening that weekend, so I'm going to work an extra week, so I can go to my own see ya later crop ROFL. Lucky I have an understanding hubby and sister!
I'm off to Waiheke Thursday night, then Sunday off to the Naki to visit my friend Annette and to meet Viv and Tracey, so am totally looking forward to that. Home on Wednesday and off to the dentist on Thursday. Friday will see me catching up with my friend Michelle for a spot of scrapbooking. Bang the holidays are over! (We work the second week - a day of setting up, a day at a conference and a day doing stuff for an upcoming ERO visit). So if I'm not on here much you know why!
Right, I'm off to cook some dinner and try and do some journalling...

You must be exhausted Trace, and still more to come. It looks like you are going to be flat out until you leave work!
Well done on finding your new place, can't wait to hear more about it...get the spaghetti ready hee hee!
Take care
Kimx
Great to have a house to go to. I wish you a happy holiday and success in sorting out everything (we also have an ERO visit this year)
Well THANK YOU Trace, for taking part in my challenge - I LOVE that LO! And it ;ooks even more fabulous IRL! Thank you as well for your help with my screaming little Elsa...
It was great to catch up, and I'm glad you got some scrapping done!
Congrats on finding a house, although I think you shoudl stay in Auckland... ;)
Looking forward to that crop, bring it on!
Wondered where you'd disappeared to!! Where the heck is Swananoa?
Can't wait to meet you this weekend!
Oh, you got the house!! I am sad but happy. Sad because I won't see you much anymore, but happy because it will be a wonderful move for you.
I loved sitting next to you at scrap camp and chatting ... thanks for the advice about my Dad (I've given him that website!), and for letting me peek at your gorgeous layouts in person :-)
stunning layout there Trace! Very cool that you have a place to go - I can see the attractions of Canty!! LOL But yeah, where the heck IS Swannanoa?? Glad you had such a good time at camp too.
congrats on your move south. It took me a while to realise Mrs F had texted ya lol. Now would you believe there were people there with more stuff than Mrs F and Meg lol. Wow you have a busy few weeks coming up. I am looking forward to reading about your new life. Enjoy your farewell crop.
Canterbury won!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We had fingers crossed you would come and roll your R's with us!!LOL Seriously though, thrilled for you and Lyall, Canterbury is a cool place and it's much closer to Invervegas than Auckland!!!
Meg had more stuff than me ... I think - ROFLMAO ... but wowser there were a couple of scrappers that took more than us combined - I kid you not!!!
Now I'm from up that way and have never heard of it ... so Lyall can become the man from wherever ... will have to google and see what happens.
I'm just gonna go and sulk now ...
Awesome news about your house.
Hope the move goes really smoothly.
I'd quite like to live down that way. So beautiful.
Hi Trace
Just catching up on blogs after being out of action for 2/3 weeks and I see you have bought your new property, wow!
Don't know that exact spot, but know Ohoka which isn't too far as the crow flies and it is a beautiful part of the country. Am sure you are just going to love your posie.
10 layouts??!! Well done, Trace! I was happy to get my 2 1/2 done. Lol at Mrs Frizz's text... glad I wasn't in your room! Oh, and Canterbury... you know I'm a Cantabrian (is that how you spell it??!!) so I think that's great!
Oh,and of course, I meant to actually say Congrats on the house purchase!
