Sunday catch up

I managed to finish a layout today, but now the camera batteries are flat...and yep I know I should have spares charged, but I don't. Only if I'm going away do I get myself that organised LOL! And there's another half done layout on my desk waiting for bits to dry before I stick 'em down.

My kitchen now has new gib on the walls. Hubby is down there stopping it, then it can be sanded. Then I get to play painter again. Only a week and a half to go now, and then you won't have to put up with me talking about my kitchen ever again! ROFL. Then just carpet and tiles to do, dress the house, sell it, and move South...just in time for summer I hope LOL! (Or at least in summer!)

We are off on a trip tommorrow, off to the Stardome Observatory, and with all the rain we are having it will be nice to get out and about for a morning. Trouble is it's not just the kids who are shattered after a trip!

Right I'm sure there's a drink, and some lollies calling me, while I wait for these embellishments to dry...so enjoy what's left of your day.

Oh no re the rain.... I wont tell you that we have had sun for the last 2 days in wgtn then.... ok maybe not. So this layout - was it your olympic warm up???? I know what you mean with the batteries... keep meaning to buy a second set - and charge them.. maybe not... then there will be 2 sets un-charged.... hahahahaha.. as for the house... do you have a date to move by??? or is it when house is done/finished (which is a shame as you wont get to enjoy it) and then move??? so teaching the the deep south - in the snow.... cant wait for those blog entries....

Shakespeare! We have the same stink rain here. Day after day after day, lol. Hubby's parents are away and the river is very, very close to flooding their property. Not good!

Cool, not long until you have an operational kitchen.

I've only been to the Stardome at night (to look through the huge telescope). You'll have to let us know what they do to entertain the kids during the day.

Not long now until you get a fully functioning new kitchen again. How exciting. Have to agree with Mandy though - after all the hard work of renovating it you are not getting much chance to enjoy before you head south. Although we are pleased that you are coming down here though.

Oh, yeah, was one of the layouts for the Olympics?? Isn't it exciting!
Bet you can't wait for your kitchen. But what's this about moving South? Where are you moving to? I'm originally a Christchurch girl...
Have fun at the Stardome; we went there recently for a kindy trip. Didn't see any stars though...

Wow, not much longer to wait for your kitchen!! Woohoo!!
I know what you mean about the camera battery too ... I don't have a "spare" one so I am often caught out like that!
Enjoy your trip to the observatory tomorrow :-)

Yeah to the final few days before you get your kitchen in! Hope you get to enjoy a little bit before selling and heading to the best area of the country! LOL!
Can't remember what country you had for Olympics - must go and check :)

Just read your doggy post - so cute!!
reminds me of our golden lab when growing up - she was a house dog too but not allowed on the couch - but if ever we went out we would come home and find her fur on the seats(we never caught her though!)Whereabouts down South are you heading?

I'm glad you are aware of the 'summer' in the South issue ... best to have firewood ready all year round down there! Yay for the kitchen progress ... I'd love a new kitchen but not sure I could cope with the in-between stage.
