Bridge Climb

This is what it looked like from under the Harbour Bridge at ten to nine this morning - we were standing there thinking...should have picked a better day...yep, today was the day that we went and did our Bridge Climb (Lyall had brought me that for my birthday back in January).
Actually, the weather was fine. Windy, and I mean windy...but that just gave it an added extra bit of fun! They take a couple of photos of you which you then have the option of purchasing, and so our guide had taken the 'nice' one of us, and then suggested we play up a bit, hence this one - much more fun to look at than us just staring at the camera! If you get the opportunity to do the climb, I'd recommend it - it's not a big buzz, but it is fun, and interesting. Oh and we got to watch as someone bungied from under the bridge, that was kind of cool. And my darling hubby owes me ten dollars...he believed we would have to wear a full harness, and I said, 'no, looking at the photos it looks just like a belt with a caribener' but oh no, he didn't believe me, so to make things interesting we had a little flutter...wonder if I will ever see that ten dollars LOL!
On the way home, we did our grocery shopping and stopped in at Pakuranga Town Centre, at the big red shed - if you are an Aucklander, and are after any Heidi Grace stuff, they stock it, and they also have quite a few different thickers as well. And yes, of course I couldn't leave empty handed...but I did behave, there's still stuff on the shelf LOL!
This was my take on the Friday night challenge over at SE. Apologies for the curve of the photo, I was using Lyall's camera, and I don't play with it much, so couldn't find the right setting. There's some heart shaped brads, painted clear flower and painted chipboard scroll, and I used a border punch, so am hoping that kind of lets me get away with the border bit...shame you can't really see the title - stands out more in real life.
And the lists are done, and now I'm starting to get things ticked off, clothes are packed (as much as they can be four days out). Plenty of food for my sister and niece who are house and pet sitting, plenty of pet food and treats. Instructions written...getting there!
