A few layouts

I'm thinking that Dubai is looking good about now.  You know, being in the dessert and all that...which means no hayfever!  Yes, I am extremely grateful that there are drugs that help, but why every Spring and Summer, can't I just get a year off from it??? Please....:-)

I headed out with my camera and some instructions thanks to You Tube, and had a play with the tripod and remote timer to capture the blood moon.  I did stay awake and peer at the blood moon but I'd given up taking photos by then. However I really like this shot and some of the moon as it went through each phase.   On the plus side, when you live in a dry part of the country, you can stand outside and not be eaten alive by mossies.  I rather like that.

A few months ago I brought one of Trina's kits and it visited Kaikoura with me and then came home again in the same box (with one layout nearly finished!)  So I've finally got around to getting that done and now I plan to hit the Prima kit that I brought a few months ago.  They are such a good buy, but I'd never get through one a month...maybe two or three a year lol.

Once I've posted this, I'm heading to the kitchen table where I have all my Project Life inserts and an album ready to put together, for next year. Organised...having done it for a few years now I know what works for me, and if I get too behind I'm liable to put it in the too hard basket and give up on it.
Looking forward to a couple of long weekends, with Labour Weekend not far away and then mid November, Canterbury Anniversary.  Got some serious scrap room sorting out to do!  It's always tidy because I don't do mess, but I'm sure that if I haven't used 'those' stickers in six  years, I probably wont...and some of my stuff will be hitting the antique stores if I leave it much longer lol.

Have a great week everyone.

I have a friend that suffers through hay fever every year so I can sympathise with your predicament! I was working the night of the blood moon so I only got to see it on my way home, and by then it was really red and magnificent in colour! I haven't bought a kit yet, far too tempting but Francine has and loves them!

What are the chances of you getting to Dubai to spend the spring/summer of each year??? LOL ;)

I can sympathise on the hay fever thing, I suffer from it all year round but it's obviously worse at particular times. It's not much fun!! There is a botanical gel that you can apply to the inside of your nostrils, I find it helps me a lot more than antihistamines (although I do take them as well when it's really bad). It comes in a green & white tube, you can get it at most pharmacies. Worth a try maybe?
