I'm certainly on the up and up now, feeling much better, but the Dr did warn me that the cough will linger for about four weeks and the energy levels won't be great for about the same length of time. Still, such is life, that's not long in the scheme of things.
With being home I've managed to finish off another layout. I'd played with my gelato's a few weeks ago and the background of this layout was the result, so this week I just added a few bits and bobs to it each day, till I'd had enough lol.
Interesting to read that Nic Howard is giving up scrapbooking altogether. She's done a huge amount for the industry, especially in this country, over the years. I'm glad I've done a few of her classes, and a few of her kits... One of the reasons I've never tried out for a design team is that it then becomes a job. I already have a job I love. I don't want another one, with deadlines and parameters of what I can and can't do. I can scrap ten pages in a week, or ten in a year. Nobody cares, different if you have to do it, you must get burnt out by it all at some stage I'd imagine.

Pleased to hear you are feeling better Trace. Charlie has come back from the coast with the flu now and is off to the doc tomorrow for antibiotics. Nice LO once again and love to hear you been playing with the gelato's.. We will be able to swap notes in a few days huh..
Glad you feeling better although a cough for 4 weeks is going to drive you nuts. :( The layout is lovely - gelatos are going to K so we can get some further instruction on them. :)
oh no!!! dont get sick!!! and yeah the cough i had earlier in winter went onnnn for ages...know what stopped it?? vicks...put it on your feet and put on socks...magical!!! my cough disappeared!!!! and yeah i am with you on the scrappy thing....not giving it up...just changing it a little...more PL for me....and as for blogging...yip thats died...but still love reading yours!!!!

I like that layout!! I havent been game to give gelatos a go yet lol, and I still feel like Im learning with mixed media so gelatos might be a way down the track!
the gelato craze has by-passed me... it looks beautiful and arty when I see everyone else use it, so I just know it'll look like a dog's breakfast if I give it a go!!
Hope your cough improves fast... I had one from teh start of the last school hols that managed to hand around for or 7 weeks... pain in the butt it was!
