As you know I had to cancel my place at the last SP retreat, as my lovely nephew was getting married. However, unbeknown to me, I was kind of there anyway :-) Vicki and Brenda took Sally and I along in spirit lol. Let me tell you, we had a great time! We must have been there, because Vicki being the sweetheart that she is (talented sweetheart!) made Sally and I a great mini album about some of the things we got up to...
So here we are arriving at the retreat. I have that little read number on and I remembered to take my love heart magic wand with me :-)
No trip to the retreat is complete without a visit to Jo Segar's for a hot chocolate, and of course Jo was pleased to see Sally and I...lol. I'm not sure we were the world's best customers... And of course we had to be on hand to 'help' Vick and Brendy as they scrapped....We won't mention all the pineapple lumps we ate, aye Sal!
Well you know what it's like after a few wines, you have to get into a bit of mischief. So pleased I got to catch up with Michelle, Beverley, Hannah and Annelie. Thanks for whispering all the gossip in my ear girls...Mum's the word lol.
Sally must have got a bit annoyed at me. I kept trying to borrow her handbag so I could go shopping (should have just used my magic wand), so she pushed me off the balcony...lucky I wasn't injured!
And last but not least, I'm sure Sally and I were great company for Dee and Elaine as well, before we headed off into the sunset, back to our homes....I wonder if I can sneak into Vicki's bag when she goes to America LOL. On second thoughts she might take me on a rollercoaster or two...no I think I'll stay home!
In other news, it's been a busy day here, shifting hay, moving shelters and generally getting things prepared for a cold snap that's meant to hit us on Wednesday and Thursday. The weather being such a difficult thing to predict, I'm guessing it will either be a total fizzer or we'll be under four foot of snow LOL. Either way at least the animals (and us) will be warm!
The rivers must be starting to get a tad cold. Usually Darcy runs into the river at the dog park, racing Brodie, Vicki's dog to get there. Once there, she lies down in the water. Yesterday she hooned on in, stopped, looked at us and came back out lol.
I've been lacking a bit of motivation to do any scrapbooking of late. A half done layout is sitting waiting to be finished, but I'm thinking that once I get off here, I'm going to hit a few websites and find some layouts to inspire me, and most likely scraplift them in the hope that it gives me a much needed boost.
Have a great week everyone. Last week of term Mandy and Dianne! YAHOO!

What a cute little tag book and fantastic idea. So nice that your friends were thinking about you all weekend.
Hope the cold snap is a fizzer. Loved the sunshine today.
Yes I am on the count down that is for sure. Enjoy your break
Well you sure gave us a few giggles at the retreat. ;)
thank goodness for last week...so many sick kids and teachers that need a break!!! sadly though mine will be full of conference and courses!!! (cos im away in spet!!)
love the mini album....you sure do have twice the fun!! hahaha
Bahahahaha too funny we all had an awesome time at the retreat..And laughed so hard at some of the antics of that weekend..Im sure some of the other ladies thought we were nuts lol. Vicki is super cool all right, I love how she did the albums for you both..
Oh, I love that Vicki made you a mini album! What a cool idea. I thought just getting the photos of the Trace & Sally figurines they had at the retreat would have been awesome enough, but a mini album with the photos in makes it even more special. Yay! :-)
Impressed with the album ... such a neat idea ... Vicki is very special! And enjoyed your little commentary on the photos too. I reckon sneaking off to the states with her is a great idea, just tell her to stay off the roller coasters and put you on that tea cup ride instead. :)
