As I sit and write this post I can see lots of dark black clouds rolling in from the South.  So glad that the dogs got a big run this morning, and that my oven is heating up ready for some lamb shanks and pumpkin cannelloni to go in.  Shame I will have to go out and feed the animals - hope the rain holds off till I've done that LOL.

As part of project life this year, I wanted to put in a couple of layouts each month.  I have no trouble keeping up with the week to week running of project life but sometimes the layouts get left behind, however the school holidays have been a great time to catch up on them.  So here's a couple of flat and simple layouts heading for that album.  The album is already chocka and Vicki tells me I'm going to need a second one LOL, so the layouts have to be flat ones :-)

The second one is a scraplift off Pinterest.  Good way to use up those journalling cards I thought.  Since I brought them for project life but they never made it in there..

Back to work tomorrow and to the first of the two winter terms.  Often this means no outside play till after about ten, once the frost and ice has thawed out.  Then when we do go out the kids just want to eat the ice anyway LOL.  Or throw things in any puddles to watch the ice break...science at it's best.

Just a couple of weeks to go and it will be a full house here, with lots of rellies and friends coming down for Donna's birthday, am so looking forward to that.

Have a great week everyone.

Know just what you mean about the layouts being left behind in the pursuit of Project Life - good that you got a couple done:) rains holding off here for now - hopefully your way too. Is Donna enjoying her new house?

Yes and what an awesome day out it was! Your journaling made me smile. Oh how I did love Emmas and Oxford in general. Good idea with the journal cards as a background. Might have to use that too. xo

Yep, it seems like the weather is really starting to turn. Oh well, cannot complain after such a stunning summer and a pretty great autumn so far. It was 23 degrees here on Friday!! But getting cold today.
Great layouts, and a great idea to use the journalling cards like that.
Term 2 tomorrow - my, how times flies!

I think you might even need more than one extra album too at the rate you are going. LOL. Loved our days out.

I hope the sun was shining for you today. Brrrr... lots of snow on the hills though I see. Super layouts and a great idea using the way you have used the journalling cards - very effective.
