Summers here, and that means very little time spent in the scraproom right now. The garden is looking good, and the dogs are enjoying their walks in the cool of the evening, but inspiration for creating has up and left the building ;-)
I'm sure once the school holidays start, that will change and I'll get busy putting together the lovely Christmas album that Brendy kindly sent me. Project Life will also be underway in just a few short weeks and I plan on being pretty creative with that. Funny, I started simple with PL and now a few years down the track am wanting to get a bit more creative with it. Wonder how many people started out creative and are now going simple LOL. Trust me to do things backwards ;-)
This morning before it warmed up too much we headed down the beach with the dogs and here they are enjoying their morning run.
Other than scrapbooking in the holidays, we've also got a few visitors arriving, and I'm really looking forward to that. Especially looking forward to doing the whole Christmas dinner thing as usually we'd just throw the barbie on, but this time I've raided Pinterest and have a few more ideas. I'm also hoping to start painting the inside of our house, but we'll see how that goes, as some of it will rely on Lyall and he has to work. What are your Christmas plans?
Have a great week!

Lots of plans over the holidays then. Have been creative this year with PL but it is time consuming so might go for a simpler version next time round. Can't wait to see what you are doing :)
Oh wow.. what a fantastic summer weekend we had! Your furry family look happy to be out on the sand. Want to come visit and do my garden?? All my time is taken up playing with Molly!!! No wonder I am doing no crafting and I can see the weeds from my window!
Those photos are fantastic!
Yay, I am so glad that summer is here. This is what I live for! Hoping we have a hot and sunny Christmas - especially as my cousin and her family are coming from Canada for a "Kiwi Christmas".
Enjoy planning your Christmas dinner, Pinterest is a great tool for these things, isn't it?
Yes my crafting at the moment is very focused on Christmas- pillow boxes for little gifts, tags, cards, teacher gifts.... It will be a while before I get a LO done. Very fun planning the Dec Daily (I think you encouraged me in this Trace??). It's amazing how everyday there is something Christmasey to be done. Looking forward to a Christmas morning at home, then we're tootling over to Blenners for a couple of nights w my little bro to see mum. xo
oh christmas!!!!!!!!
roll on end of the term then i am doing nothing at all!!!!!!!!!!

Same O not a lot of Scrapping happening here either.. Pretty excited about PL tho and looking forward to putting it together, love it that as things happen such as the suitcase full of goodies. It can go straight in the album along with a pic of you. One of my faves from Kaikoura...Love the pics of your babies, im a thinking I need a photograhy lesson..
Yay! Fun at the beach! And yay its finally summer! We've been flatout the last few weeks with no time to do much so I'm looking forward to some hot, relaxing days to puddle around in the garden.
