July

Lyall and I headed out last night for a BBQ, around a big bonfire, meeting new people. As we sat there chatting, with snowy mountains in the background, the house cow with her head on my shoulder (while I rubbed her under the chin), the cat on my knee (she was doing the rounds), it just felt so very right. We are so lucky to live in such a spot. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but we love it. Cow slobber and all...

Shame I couldn't fit Patience the house cow in the 4WD, we would have happily taken her home lol.

As you can see, Donna's kitchen's well on the way to completion. Just the plumber and electrician to come through in the next couple of weeks to do their thing. What do you think of some of her lights?

I have done no scrapping in the last two weeks. I did shop for a few supplies. That's an important part of scrapping ;-) I will get back into it in a few weeks, just too much to do around the two houses at the moment, along with the normal, keeping the household running types of thing as well.

Have a fab week.

Had a wee giggle at the house cow, thats so freaking cute. Sounds like a lovely night. Oh I love Donna's lighting choices. Gorgeous lights indeed. Donna must be getting so excited about the countdown to moving in.

Donnas house is looking gooood:) glad you are feeling so happy and settled, that's what it's all about. Have to agree the scrappy shopping is a very important part of the whole process, then there's the arranging of supplies, the admiring or said supplies, the wonderment over the awesomeness of them...who needs to actually scrap...so over-rated!lol

A house cow?! Now I've 'herd' it all {giggle}. LOL to Heidi's comment. Have a great week.

So ... will you be getting a calf this spring that you can grow into a house cow?

Yeah, I can relate to the no scrapping thing, I haven't done much in the past little while. Hope you get some creative time soon :-)
