This week has seen us busy with visitors. A six year old who was pretty sick (and so I'm hoping he hasn't kindly shared his germs...), but was well enough to head to the snow and have some fun. My very kind hubby even took the day off, so he could come with us.
You realise how familiar everything has become when your visiting friend asks where's the nearest place for a coffee...and your in the middle of the Southern Alps. (I guess we could have headed up to a ski field for one lol). She had to wait for a fix until we headed back down to the nearest town which is Springfield.
I'm not sure who had more fun on the sled, my hubby or the six year old. Something to be said about men not every really growing up aye LOL.
My nephew and his partner haven't made it down, which means we've got stuck in and finished the painting (acutally there's still the bathroom to go, since that's enamel paint, but it shouldn't take long).
The builder/cabinet maker is meant to be coming this Saturday to put the kitchen in. Will be good to get that next bit of the project done.
Here's my entry over at Scrapbox. You had to do a layout based on 'economy'. The photos are of Donna and she wrote the journalling, which I had to edit a bit as it was too long for the layout.
Tomorrow I'm going to lock myself in my scraproom and get the last layout done for the Scrappin Patch competition. Might have to let myself out so I can walk the dogs though ;-)
Here's wishing you all a fab week.

Those are great snow play photos, I love them! I'm sure Mr 6 had a lot of fun at your place, despite not being well. How could you not enjoy playing in all that lovely white stuff?
Boys will be boys and I could imagine Lyall having a blast. Sounds like Master 6 had a
great time despite being sick.
