April.

Just loving these autumn days...a nip in the air in the evening and morning, and then stunning sunny days. Life can only be good when the weather plays so nicely.

I've finally finished the layouts I started at the Scrappin Patch retreat.

This was a very simple scraplift of a double layout in an old Creating Keepsakes magazine. Thought it was a good way to use up a couple of the Project Life cards that I still have sitting around.

Using my new picket fence die. If you know of any good places overseas that sell those thin metal dies, let me know...

The joys of attending a retreat is that you get to have a nosy at what everyone else is up to. The best bit is when you sit next to your twinnie and then raid her sketches lol. This is a layout that Annelie had done a while back and Vicki liked the look of it...as did I.

At the moment I'm making good inroads into a top secret off the page project. Top secret because it's for someone in my families birthday!

Other than that, the first week of the holidays has whizzed past and I imagine the second week will as well. On school holiday mornings I wonder why I got chickens - I could be having a sleep in if I didn't have chickens. Lucky I work more than I have holidays, it's no hardship getting up and feeding them, when you have to go to work anyway, but when you could be lying in bed, now that's a whole different story!

Have a great week everyone.

enjoy the last week of the hols. Funnily enough I did a post this arvo about what I like about Autumn. Awwwww those chicks appreciate you :-)

As for the thin dies, have you tried MFT=My favourite things. They always have a great selection, or papertray. They are both based in the states.

Yippe for sketches too.....

Great to see you getting some layouts finished/created over the holidays. They all look great. I especially like the cathedral one and the title is very appropriate. Enjoy the last week of the break...

ROFL about the chickens. My problem is my children. 5:45am on a Sunday is just FAR too early LOL. Love LOs 2 and 3 especially. I get Papertrey Ink dies.
