So I've been stuck in bed since last Friday (hence no blog post last Sunday), with what was initially a sinus infection which then decided that wasn't enough and would add on a chest infection as well. However a week and a half on, a good whacking dose of antibiotics and I'm back at work, up and about and feeling human again. Kindergarten teacher's (like teachers everywhere and nurses!) get a pretty darn good immunity because they are often around germs, however every once in a while you get got. I got good lol. This term has just been one of those terms, where if there was something going around then I got it - and because I didn't do anything about the little bits of illness, my immunity was down and I got something just a bit more powerful. However being home sick meant my lovley twinnie came out for a visit and brought me a mag to read. And you know how much I love mags LOL.
Yesterday I headed off to Scrappin Patch. It's not that I need more stash, but I wanted some new stuff to motivate me into my scrapping room. With being sick and with these beautiful spring days, I have been a bit slack in the creativity department, so am hoping a few new goodies will be just the oompphh I need. I'm also on the lookout for a really decent light as I find it too hard to work in there at night. I checked out Spotlight today but at three hundred a pop the light is staying there - it may come home if I decide it really is the best one for the job, but at the moment I haven't researched it enough to warrant that cost.

oh no Trace, I get sinus infections, they are not nice... no wonder you needed a bit of retail therpy!!

Sorry to hear that you've been sick, Trace, but I'm glad you are feeling better now. I have a similar thing which started on Saturday and I'm sure it's turning into a sinus infection. I usually get about 3 a year, and I haven't had one this year ... until now. Sigh.
You sure did get got!!! LOL. So what did you find to inspire you out at SP?? Maybe its time for another challenge??? LOL
i hate this!!!! you think youve done well...bypassed all those germs then POW you catch something off those snotty nose......

You need to tell those kiddies that sharing germs with you is just not nice. And nothing wrong with a little 'new stuff' to encourage creativity. Did it work?
