I've been a bit slack over the last three weeks with writing on this blog of mine.  Since I can blame it on being busy, because it's that time of the year, I will!

Apart from Project Life, there's not a lot of scrapping going on.  Some good journaling for an album of my Mum's side of the family has been happening though, so at least I feel like I'm doing something.  And to be honest, I find that my mojo up and goes when it's hot and I'm busy.  There are way too many farm things to do when the weathers good (and ironically it's stuff that means your prepared for when the weathers not good...).

Speaking of which, we really do have the most fantastic neighbours (we're really lucky, everywhere we've lived we've always had great neighbours).  Anyway, I digress....our neighbor Peter cut and baled our hay for us last year, and has offered us the use of all of his equipment to do it ourselves this year - we'll just pay for fuel and baling twine.  My husband is in 'big boys toys' heaven LOL.  And Anne and Alan our other neighbours have given us one of their paddocks for hay (and we can use another three for the cows if we want), along with the use of their big shed for storing our hay, for the next couple of  years.  We do, do quite a bit for them in return...we look after their horses, chickens and one cat, mow out the front of their place and generally keep an eye on things as they don't live there, but do pop down most days.

So over the last week or so I spent a lovely few hours with these two ladies (that's Gaye and Vicki if you don't know them).   We went to The Tannery, and will certainly be going back there again.  What an amazing asset this will be when it's completely finished.

We also brought ourselves a farm bike.  Apparently 'I' needed it???  Funny how I needed it, but my hubby hasn't stopped playing with it aye!  After a couple of weeks I finally got my first ride, so went and harrowed one of the paddocks.

I don't know how long we've been doing this, but the dogs and I sure look forward to our Friday walks with Vicki and Brodie.  Here are my three enjoying the cool grass and time in the river.

Have a fantastic week everyone!

You mean to say, you were actually allowed to ride the bike??? ROFL. The dogs (and us) definitely needed a walk in the river in that heat. :)
