'It's starting to look a lot like Christmas...' Well it is in my house! I put on a Christmas CD, put up the tree and then a couple of days later, dug out the decorations and now they're up to. The angel and the nativity scene are both in their spots. And they are all together in one lounge so that certain little four legged creatures can't get too inquisitive ;-)
Last week over at Scrapbox we had to do a layout with ten things you love about Christmas. Here's my take on it.
I know Vicki has a good whack of hayfever, as have I. I've decided that when I win Lotto, I'm buying an apartment down on the wharf in Auckland - maybe at the end of the Hilton lol. No trees, no grass, just sea breezes. And for a couple of months of the year we can shift in there and have no hayfever LOL. Of course I have to win Lotto first...(and considering I hardly ever buy a ticket, it's not like the odds of me doing that are great ;-) Anybody else want to join us? Come for a visit? We could 'do' lunch at the Viaduct LOL.
I'm hoping that Mandy, Janine, Beverley and Brenda who felt a good 5.7 shake last night haven't had too many aftershocks from it. They don't make for good sleeping conditions. I guess they don't call us the shaky isles for nothing aye...
Well dinner is ready so I best be off. Have a fantastic week everyone.

Loved that LO Trace and a well deserved win tooo..Good Luck for this next week..I think you should slip a Lotto ticket in to your xmas stocking Chick..All good up here thanks but I must admit to being a bit jumpy today, especially after everyone has gone home and Im on my own again..
Well done for being onto it with all your Christmas decorating. Sad but true, you might have to return to Auckland so we can catch up!
oh i love this!!!
and yes we'll visit your apartment!!! hee hee!!!
as for the shakes!!!all good now!!! as long as THATS ALL!!!!
I'm going to buy you the ticket!!! ROFL Good luck with the last week of the competition - have my fingers crossed for you and am waving my pom poms. LOL
Beautiful layout Trace, love the gorgeous colour and how my eye is drawn to the centre in this layout.
I would love to visit you and Vicki. Um I agree with Brenda sounds like you need to slip a few tickets into the stockings.
The wee shakle we got scared me to be honest. I was home on my own, felt the rumbling beneath me and thought heck is there something wrong with our garage and then the shaking started and I was up and under the doorway as fast as I could get.
Mike didn't even feel it he was on his way back from the supermarket in the car and had no clue we had a wee shake.
Layout looks great!
I'd come to Auckland to that apartment too lol
ick at hayfever ... I'd be up for a visit though! And the shake ... I felt a little wobbling but had no idea it was such a big deal until I read the facebook reports ... hoping that means my house is a good place to be in an earthquake. And that's a rather nice layout you have there ... must try scrapping sometime myself ... it looks like fun!
Well, my hayfever has been terrible this year and I don't live too far from the water in Auckland!! So not sure it would be much help. Seems to be a bad season for pollen etc.
Yay for your house looking and sounding like Christmas - mine too! Love this time of year :-)
Love the layout - Special Memories recorded (love the fashions of the day lol) Well done with the Xmas decorating too.
