Kids say the darndest things...Picture this, me and a group of children at work:
Me: "Now you won't see me for a few weeks because I'm going on holiday on a big boat."
Child one: "Can you take cars on that boat?" (see most of these kids across the Cook Strait lol).
Me: "Nope, no cars, but I have a whole room with a couple of beds, a t.v and a bathroom. And someone will cook my breakfast, lunch and dinner, do the dishes and someone else will even make my bed."
Child two: In a very exasperated voice, "well what are YOU going to do all day THEN!"
ROFL...Fair question, I spose - told him I was going to sit and read a book or have some dancing lessons!
So on that note, you won't see me online for a few weeks. I'll still be around till Tuesday night, but Wednesday morning we head North, and we'll be boarding the boat on Sunday. Going to spend Friday and Saturday catching up with a few friends and rellies in Auckland. Friday just gone, saw the arrival of my Dad and brother. My brother flies back to Auckland on Tuesday, but Dad is here on babysitting duties lol. His wife flies down next week and her sister and brother in law will also arrive sometime next week. We are taking photos of our kids with us, as we'll miss them lol. We won't miss them wanting to go out in the middle of the night because they can hear a hedgehog outside...That's for Dad to enjoy for a while. Lucky Dad.
So till we catch up again, have a wonderful few weeks and 'see' you when we get back.

Awwww at your dad on babysitting duties so cute. I love that you are taking photos of your babies, just think of all the cuddles you will get when you all arrive home.

Yay!! Have a wonderful time! My friends (yes, they are my friends, I am still being careful how I use the word, LOL) just got back from a cruise for their 5th wedding anniversary and I REALLY WANT TO GO ON ONE! You enjoy yourself while you do NOTHING! :-)

Wish I was coming too! Hope you find plenty to do on that big boat, take lots of photos so we can live through your experiences :o) Can just imagine the schedule you'll need to leave your Dad ... feedings, walks, inside, outside times, which tv programmes Darcy is allowed to watch and when they're on ... etc
