Starting to get back to normal...whatever normal is lol!

So the photos are (and this isn't in any particular order, because I always have trouble loading them!)...my family, our trip down (though the big photo of the snowy mountains is the view from my bedroom windows on a good day lol, and the other collage is a few snapshots of home.

When we went to move a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't fit everything on one truck. Most got on but the odd shaped things like the BBQ and air compresser etc - things you can't stack other things on had to come down this week. The poor truckie was stuck for forteen hours in Wellington, on the ferry - they loaded them on as although they knew they weren't sailing, they were worried about the trucks tipping over in the wind. However all our worldly goods have now arrived and amongst this second lot was the top of my scrapbooking table, so yahoo, I can finally sort that mess of a room out! Also having spied the great set up that Vicki has at her house, I subsequently pinched the idea and have thus been shopping at Bunnings LOL...so I'm looking forward to getting that all back up and running.

Now I was going to work part time once I got down here but there are quite a few things we want to do around the house - they don't so much as need doing, but are things we want to do. So I'm on the hunt for more of a fulltime role again and Lyall will do relief driving as well as staying home and doing 'man' stuff around the place. Donna and I shot out for the day today checking out a heap of centres. They are really keen to have both of us, and while there was certainly nothing wrong with their centres, I'm still having a think about whether it's for me or not and am also going to phone up about one that might be more my cup of tea tomorrow.

We are on mobile broadband and are spending the month getting used to just how much is too much in terms of actual gigabytes - so if you don't get too many comments from me this month it's because we aren't to sure about how much time we can spend on the old 'puta before we run out of time and they put the price up horrifically - after the month we will have a much better idea - so I'm still reading all your blogs, but just aren't commenting on them all.

And Hi Laney and Bostin! Big hugs my wee darlings! (Two of my kindy kids who are reading my blog, with a bit of help from their Mums!)

Right, back to the garage and unpacking for me!

Doesn't look like there's too much to do at your place except lie back in that bathtub!!!! WoW!There's a ginger boy here who likes to talk to me when I'm in the bath.. keeps popping his head over the side to make sure I'm OK!
